Do you have any family Christmas traditions? Now that Miss E is old enough to roll up her sleeves and help in the kitchen, I am hoping we will create some family lasting memories and recipes that will be passed onto her family. These cookies are easy to make, simply take a gingerbread cookie cutter, flip them upside down and decorate. It’s that easy. I wish I could take the credit but Mr. D found the idea in the local paper. Miss E helped baked the cookies. We made a couple dozen of these Rudolph sugar cookies for a few Christmas parties, they were a hit. I hope Santa enjoys these as much as the kids did.
We decorated these cookies with a simple chocolate icing to keep it kid friendly, but if you want to get more creative you could always ice them with royal icing. We also played around with a few designs with the eyes and different coloured noses. I don’t think you could go wrong either way. I say have fun and see what you can come up with.
